-
When can I get in to see the doctor?Dr. Molloy has immediate openings Monday through Friday for new and current patients. We accept walk-ins and take same-day appointments!
-
How much will it cost? The cost of your initial visit may vary depending on your insurance coverage and services received. Most health insurance plans include coverage for chiropractic care and Dr. Molloy is a provider for most major insurances. We'll check your benefits at your first appointment so you'll know up front what is covered. If you do not have health insurance, no problem! Many of our patients either don’t have health insurance or prefer not to use it, and they still find our care to be affordable.
-
Are chiropractic adjustments safe?Yes. Studies have found that adjustments are remarkably safe. Chiropractic care enjoys an excellent track record and Dr. Molloy has performed thousands of adjustments since 2004. He will perform a thorough exam to identify the rare person for whom chiropractic care might be unsuited.
-
Does it hurt to get adjusted? No, not at all. Dr. Molloy is trained in safe and gentle treatment methods that get excellent results.
-
Do I have to get my bones “cracked”?No. You do not need to be “cracked”. Dr. Molloy receives yearly certification and is licensed to perform a variety of safe treatment methods. Some patients prefer a “cracking” technique and Dr. Molloy is able to perform that as well. If you have a preference or concern, we’d love to know.
-
How many adjustments will I need? The number of adjustments varies with each patient and their individual health goals. Many patients feel some progress with only one or two treatments. Visits are less often as your spine stabilizes and most patients begin to see results within two to four weeks. In difficult cases, complete healing can take months or even years.
-
What does an adjustment feel like? Most patients report a sense of well-being or a feeling of calmness. Since repeated adjustments are necessary, if adjustments didn’t feel good, patients wouldn’t return to finish their care. Chiropractors are experts at making adjustments feel good.
-
Can patients with arthritis or osteoporosis get chiropractic care?Of course. When developing a care plan, Dr. Molloy considers the unique circumstances of each patient. There are many ways to adjust the spine. The method selected will be best suited to your age, size and spinal problem. We treat patients every day with arthritis and osteoporosis.
-
Do you adjust children?Yes, every day. Just as you take your child for regular dental checkups to keep their teeth healthy and free of cavities, regular chiropractic checkups help keep their spine healthy and in good alignment.
-
Can I have chiropractic care after neck or back surgery?Yes. Dr. Molloy is certified in specific and very safe treatment techniques to avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. Often with spinal surgery, the bones above and below the surgical area begin to compensate and cause stiffness. If necessary, these areas will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
-
Do I need a referral from an MD to see a chiropractor? No referral needed. Chiropractors are first-contact doctors under New Hampshire and federal regulations.
-
How do I become a patient? The quickest way to get an appointment is to call (603) 415-2100 and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have and schedule an appointment for you.
